100 Days of Holiday Inspiration-Yarn Ball-91 Days & Counting

100 Days Crafts, Gifts & More!
Hey everyone!
Today's craft is the Yarn Ball.  These are really fun to make but a little bit messy.  We made these back at Easter using embroidery floss and the kids really had a good time with it.
All you need are some balloons in different sizes, embroidery floss or yarn, liquid starch and flour.  Oh and make sure you fully cover the work area with newspaper and have lots of paper towels or wet wipes handy.
You make them the same way we did at Easter (see link here) but this time using fall or Christmas colors.  They take about 12 hours or more to dry completely and once they are dry you can pop the balloon and pull it out.  You can hang larger ones from the ceiling and place the smaller ones in decorative baskets.  I'm sorry I don't have any new ones to show you photos of, but as soon as I do I will post them.
Short and sweet today everyone!  I promise to have some more detailed crafts soon, but this week we are getting ready for a fair performance and all of us are pretty worn out.  Fall is a very busy time of the year around here, how about you?
Until Next Time...
G'nite!
