That Thing Called Life...A Day in the Life of a Crafty Mom

Do you ever have one of those days that you don't know where you're at, what you're doing or where you are going?  Well that's the way I'm feeling these days!  I seriously need an agenda for my agenda. Last week was total bust.  A few nights of storms, another sinus migraine, a 4 year old getting out of the house and missing while I was in the shower-yeah, that happened!  My daughter was asleep and my 4 year old son was in bed, hubby wasn't home.  I took a shower.  Nothing out of the ordinary.  I get out and see if he's asleep-he wasn't in his room.  I start calling his name as I walk down the hall-nothing.  The.front.door.was.wide.open. Ok, he must have gone out to see the kittens a mama cat so graciously brought up to the porch.  Twice earlier in the day he did that, and both times I thought: "I must not have locked the deadbolt-because I know he can't get that open."  But I can promise you when I got in the shower it was lock...

It was harder than normal to get up this morning with all the rain we were getting.  My lucky hubby was off today and got to enjoy a lazy morning, but after having to work all weekend he deserved it.  Would be nice if that would happen on my day off! Tonight I had to replace a needle in my serger for the first time.  It broke Saturday night while I was trying to finish Mother's Day gifts (procrastinate much??).  I ended up in the after church rush to buy gifts since I did not get to finish the cute bags and key chains I had planned. Once I finally figured out the right way to put the need in place, it was back to business on a larger than normal custom order.  All while trying to get the kids to clean there rooms.  I heard to bottom drop out from the sky as a second round of storms were upon us.  I checked to see if my poor hubby was still stuck on the lawnmower but thankfully he got under the carport of his parents next door.  It was pounding...

Good Monday Morning! I am starting out this week with the Ultimate Blog Party .  I have to thank Angela over at Binge Crafter for linking up to the Ultimate Blog Party and letting us all in on this great idea.  I had not heard of UBP before but I am so thankful she shared this. I've spent the last 2 days writing 6 pages worth of details about my blog.  Basically where I started, where I am, and where I want to be.  But for now I've decided not to bomb my blog with incoherent babbling and just save those details for myself. :-) What I do want to share are some new goals I have for my little blog here.  In a nutshell, I am going to be posting a new blog every weekday on certain subjects.  Hopefully this will get me a little more motivated and a little less scatterbrained when it comes to the world of reaching out there on the net waves to have my tiny little hobby/business discovered.
